Astarta iBase gateway TDMoIP is designed to transmit E1 streams through a packet Ethernet network. A pair of gateways provides transparent transmission of E1 streams with restoration of the carrier frequency of 2.048 Mbit / s on the slave side.
The gateway is adapted to work both in dedicated networks with high speed and reliability of packet delivery, and in the public Internet.
The low cost of the system is achieved through the use of the latest developments of foreign chip companies that solve the bulk of the problem in a single chip.
The iBase gateway supports from 1 to 12 digital streams E1 (G.703 / G.704) with a linear code HDB3 / AMI.

It is possible to transmit both a fixed set of time slots (channel intervals) and dynamic, i.e. only those time slots that are currently in use are transmitted, thereby excluding idle traffic.
The gateway has an adaptive jitter jitter buffer with a capacity of 256 ms, which allows it to be used even in the most unstable IP networks.
The gateway allows you to connect flows according to the point-to-multipoint scheme, which allows you to build a network according to the star topology.
The iBase gateway uses a proprietary frequency recovery algorithm to ensure perfect transmission without data slippage (SLIP), which provides high-quality sound and the smooth passage of faxes.
